Our Mission: To promote the humane treatment of animals though care, education and advocacy. HSCCL provides shelter, food, medical treatment and TLC to every animal that is brought to our facility.
Long Term Goal: Continued promotion for the humane treatment of animals in the Cedar Creek Lake area; promotion and support of animal rescue programs; education for spay/neuter; application for grant monies to aid in operation expenses; Operation Orange – future plans to become a no-kill shelter.

- Is a private, nonprofit organization serving the animals and people of Kaufman and Henderson Counties and beyond since 1983

- Depends on the generosity of individual and corporate supporters to fund our programs and services.
